    Recently my daughter was on the news and i recorded it to myDVR . I want to capture the segment and everything I read talks about HD. IS it possible to capture this recorded video. I have searched and read and I am confused.

    do you have 'capture hardware' & software for your PC or a DVD recorder

    then plug the A/v output of the DVR into the capture device or DVD recoder, start recording then chose play on the DVR..
