I got the card from Newegg, it was a returned card. It came with the card only... as stated on the website its my responsibility to conjer up anything missing.
Well, Ive installed the drivers and control panel from ATI, but when I boot XP wants the disk to finish installing the drivers. Something is a rye, if I had the CD Id be in good shape.
Sigh.
Can someone burn me a copy of the disk and send me by mail, or FTP an ISO?
FTP would allow me to get it faster... Ive got 15 days to decide if this is going
to work or I cant return it, as it was an open box item.
Thanks... THANKS!!!!
Andrew

I have been into computers since 1980. Ive been tinkering with DV in one flavor or another since 1990.

I think the only thing requiring the CD (or proof of ownership) are the "Gemstar GuidePlus+ and PowerCinema" applications.

If you are using other PVR software or a capture program, these aren't needed.
Newegg owes you the CD. -
It's copied.........ATI Catalyst which includes Power Cinema 3.0, Drivers, EPG, etc.
I never could get the Guide to integrate with the Power Cinema scheduler. I don't believe you will find a recording software for the Wonder Elite that matches the recording quality you get with Power Cinema ATI Edition. I am using driver 6.14.10.134, dated 1-5-06.
I would not mess with the control panel.
Record some good stuff from TV and burn to DVD before you fool with anything.
If all you want to do is record a lot of TV and play it back, buy a TiVO or DVR.
Send me an e-mail with your address and I will put it in the mail tomorrow.

I'm no tv wonder expert but it appears you need to install the WDM drivers, the DAO/MDAC, and the MMC 9.06 downloads from the ATI site. I would also say in that order.
I tried searching for the proper drivers and had mixed results. Using the support/update links the site offers the same drivers/software as the newer 550-650 cards. I don't think I'd use these myself.
I found the standard TV Wonder Pro software page. You can check it out if you like. It might be the right one, I don't know.
