    I have a video file widescreen movie in a fullscreen resolution. how do I crop the movie without distorting the image, and the blackspace is gone.

    Meaning you have a letterboxed widescreen movie (a widescreen movie letterboxed into a 4:3 picture) that you want to convert to a 16x9 encoded widescreen movie?

    I haven't used that guide, so I can't say how well it works.

    Remember though, if the aspect ratio of the image is greater than 1.78 : 1 then you will have to have some black bars in the encoded image to preserve the correct AR.
