Help, firewire blues

I got my firewire card n camera.

Now I got a bunch of sh!tty Ulead capture programs, none of them r able to do multisegment capture. U'd think they'd relieze ppl want multisegment.

THen it reaches the Fat 32 limit, n deletes the file. That was a good file, with a lil work, it probally could have been salvaged.

So then I go to Virtual Dub.

I load up the capture program.

Result"

A grey screen with they and pink dots.

If only Windows ME supported NTFS. I'd convert in a second, n if it does, i dunno how to do it.

Try scenalyzer live at scenalyzer.com. Its an easy program to use!! And if anyone out there knows how to turn off the device control on Adobe Premiere 6.0 let me know! I am trying to compare some capture programs, but I can't get it to work!!!

try http://www.sonicfoundry.com and get their freeware capture prog. it will cap multi segmented dv type2 files, no prob

...sorry bro, but Ulead VideoStudio version 5 "DOES" have multisegment (they call it 'seamless') capture...unless you are using older version (which is worse).

Yes, and i checked that and it still returned the same error at the exact same time.

I didn't see any video programs in their free software section. Closest thing is the demo of VideoFactory 2.0. Is this what you're referring to?

sorry, it appears they no longer offer it as a seperate dld, since it was integrated in to vegas3. if you want i could prol post it somewhere for download

that's ok, i should be getting my Windows XP upgrade soon and i can go to NTFS.
