I have captured a 4 hour VHS tape of music videos into one 8 GB MPEG-2 file. Now I would like to use a program where I could set marks between each music video clip and then click "cut" and let the program cut that large MPEG-2 file into 60 small clips according to the cut-marks I specified. I don't want to demux stuff or anything. I just want to load the file in the program, click to place 60 cut-marks and then press the GO button and the program should create clip01.mpg to clip60.mpg.
Can anyone recommend a good program which can do that ?
Thanks.

Or VideoReDo may be able to do that. For freeware, Cuttermaran. Not a lot of cheap MPEG editors available that have all the desired options.

Womble MPEG-VCR, Womble MPEG Video Wizard, Video ReDo
