I am using Nero Vision to capture videos with my pinnacle PCTV capture card! I'm capturing in mp4 format. The problem is that the videos are interlaced an I canīt find an option in Nero Vision to capture it deinterlaced! Is there any plug-in for Media Player to play the video correctly? I donīt want to re-encode the video!

    Thanks,
    Daniel

All video is interlaced (with the exception of some HD formats). Do you mean telecined?

Yea, its called Media Player Classic. I don't use Windows Media Player anymore. MPC is a far better all around player. Try it.

    Good luck.

Is DVD interlaced too? I'm not an expert, but what I want is to play the video without that lines that appears in interlaced video and than played in the computer! Do you know a solution?

Most likely you captured and encoded deinterlaced and you are seeing deinterlace artifacts.

What were your capture settings and what are you seeing? A frame grab would help.

I am almost sure that the video is interlaced! I tryed to capture a frame of the video to show here, but I couldn't! WMP does not gives me this option and printscreen didn't work!

I tryed the Media Player Classic as was proposed, but it can't play mp4 files.

    Any other suggestion?
