I'm running an imacG5 and am starting to feel the pinch regards encoding speeds, I'd like to use 720p but...I think it'd be a matter of weeks before seeing any results.
I read a previous topic about a new binary for x264 which improved G5 benchmarks. I hadn't really thought of whether my binaries were the latest and greatest.
All codecs for players are the most recent but I was wondering if anyone had any clues on finding the newset binaries for ffmpegX?
I should point out that there's not a cat in hells chance of me creating my own
Thanks.
