Can someone point me to the white paper standard for VCD and SVCD. I search all over and must be blind.
Problem is that my captured VCD Mpeg 1 through ADS USB IDVD is encoded:
VBR, 352X240, 4:3 generic, VBV buffer 112, constrained flag N
When I burn using Nero, my philips 702 DVD player starts to stutter during playback.
However, if I burn a bootleg of hallowman VCD encoded:
CBR, 352x240, 4:3 NTSC 525, VBV buffer 20, flag Y.. It works like a champ in my philips DVD.
Whats the real standard?
Is aspect ratio setting a big issue?
VBV buffer 112 seems too high.
Any suggestions on how to recode using hallowman settings?
Thanks much as I am a newbie!
