Question what to do now.

Hi Gang

I am not exacetly new to this I have been using my Tivo, to capture programs/movies and get them onto my computer for some time now. But recently I have been having problems with the movies, they do not come out very good or not at all. It goes through the process all right it appears, but the end result is, incomplete or with freeze ups, etc. I am using temp pro to access my Tivo and Tytool 9r1 to access the info. I am thinking of dumping them and starting fresh with the latest and greatest. I have been using them for a couple of years now.

So I am sure there are better ways out there now. So this is where you come in, I would appreciate any advice you all can give me as to what to use.

If you have windows try directshowdump. It outputs a clean mpg to use in any program. Though you will have to convert it to dvd mode to burn a dvd of course.
