    I've put together a very simple menu in Encore. In the preview screen the menu works, however when I make a physical dvd or image the menu is missing. I'm not sure why or how to fix this.

    Is the menu the first play item ?

    Nothing happens. I'm really puzzled here since the menu works in the encore preview but not on the burned dvd or mounted iso...

    for the record the menu is set to first play.

    Some DVD players have settings to automatically load the last DVD played...
    So what you're saying is.....if you click the "Menu" or "Top Menu" button on the remote, it doesn't work??

    THat's correct. It also doesn't work if I play the image file mounted on daemon tools...

    encore 2.0 - I recently did a fresh windows install and havent' installed my dvd software so just using windows media 11

    Windows media 11 not best software to test DVD
    Please try with PowerDVD
