I'm exporting all commercials as Quicktime Apple DV MOV files (Lower Fields First).
Once exported, I import them in MainConcept Mpeg Encoder for Mac OSX (Version 1.5).
I export them as MPEG2 Program Stream (720x480, 29.97fps 8000Kbps, etc) at Lower Fields First and it gives me a SPOT.MPG
Now, I upload my MPG to our Ad insertion server. Traffic then loads the spot into their computer and when played back, I get flicker all over the place. It looks like I rendered the commercial in Upper Fields and just hit play.
I actually rendered the commercial in After Effects as Upper Fields first and both look exactly the same.
What am I doing wrong? If I progressive the MPG, no problem at all, but who wants to progressive their video just to get it to work?
Thanks!
