OK I know this can be done, Ive read posts and articles that this DVD player can work with it, EVERYTHING i have tried fails.
I have 50+ MKV files all with .ogg audio and xvid encoded video.
What I have been doing is using alltoavi to convert it to a AVI file with 1 audio channel, this file WILL play no problems. When I try muxing in a second audio file it refuses to play.
I know the audio tracks HAVE to be encoded the same, so what I did is I ran alltoavi a second time this time producing a file with the second audio track.
Then I use AVI-MUX GUI to make a file using the video and both audio tracks which are the same but in different languages. Will not work.
Anyone who has successfully done this id love to know how!

AlltoAvi converts it for me.
What I do is, run AlltoAvi on filex.mkv, I get fileA.avi which has 1 video and 1 english audio. Now fileA.avi plays in the player. I now convert filex.mkv to fileB.avi which is video + foreign audio. This fileB.avi also plays. I then run AVI-MUX GUI, load up fileA.avi select its video and audio, leave as default. I then load up fileB.avi and uncheck the video and remove the default on the audio track. I then run this and it generates a avi file with 2 audio tracks. (this is the only way I know how to mux...). Now this new file fileC.avi should work. However it does not, and its frusterating the hell out of me.
I really dont know what im doing wrong here. -
If a mod wants to move this to DVD players It might be more relevant...

Hmm... Weird, but not that weird. Sounds like you're doing it correctly. The resulting 2 - audio track AVI plays on your PC and you can choose each track, right ?
1) Is the resulting file over 2GB in size ? That's a no-no
2) Open up the file in VirtualDubMod. Go to Streams->Report. Are both audio tracks there? I have 2 AC3 audio files muxed into an AVI in the example below. What format are the audio files in your 2-track file ?
Input files :
- [E:\dc\x.avi]
---== Video stream ==---
Source : [Input AVI file]
Description : AVI video stream
Length : 01:42:27.136
---== Other stream ==---
Source : [Input AVI file]
Description : AVI audio stream 1 [tag 0x2000, ATSC/A-52 (Dolby AC3)]
Length : 01:42:27.136
---== Other stream ==---
Source : [Input AVI file]
Description : AVI audio stream 2 [tag 0x2000, ATSC/A-52 (Dolby AC3)]
Length : 01:42:27.136 -
open the file in vdubmod
Two streams:
Source: Input AVI file
Desc: AVI audio stream 1 [tag 0x0055, MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3)]
Length: 00:23:54:000
Source: Input AVI file
Desc: AVI audio stream 2 [tag 0x0055, MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3)]
Length: 00:23:54:000
Any ideas? It does play with MP3 tracks as 99% of all my divx dvd's have MP3 as the audio, this is my first attempt at dual audio.
