i use All-In-Wonder ATI 32 MB to capture and need to upgrade it to 128 or 256 MB Pci Express but i can't find it now so i decide to buy graphic card and tv tuner to capture .

and when i go to buy the tv tuner the seller said to me that the recording quality of tv tuner is not good as All-In-Wonder .

I have read plenty here that says that the All In Wonder's are the inferior product. I am happy with my tuner card. I have not tried both though...

  3. The AIW is (imho) substandard for most, unless you tweak forever to get it just right.
An Hauppauge PVR will give you dvd quality, right out of the box.

Look into buying a Hauppauge WinTV PVR 250 or 350 (both are internal PCI cards) or the Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2 (which is an external USB 2.0 device).

Any of these three will give you great quality captures but do note that they only capture to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 which means no AVI type captures.
