Hi. I have a problem with burning backup dvd movies to my SOny DRX 710UL. I had already converted the movie files to less than 4.2G using DVDShrink and I am using a dvd-r disc. At Nero, when I had already added the movie folders and the "Fit to Record" is checked the NEXT button is grayed out and can't do anything anymore. I had tried re-installing it, reformat pc, used Nero Ultra 7 but the same problem exist. I read the Sony DRX 710UL is compatible with DVD-R and some posts shows that DVD+R is ok too. What could be wrong? Compatiblity issues? Thanks.

Why are you using "Fit to Record" ?

There is a tool from nero for cleaning the tool completely out of the pc ... without trace .
Uninstall nero , then clean it out using the tool , reboot pc , reinstall nero ... reboot and try again .

You may also want too check for a firmware update for the drive , so as to have better support for new media .
Could also be something to do with the media "batch" you currently have being of bad quality ... it happen's in all brand's .

Try placing the media in the drive prior too running nero ... dont use the system default startup idiot user choice ... close that and actually run nero from it's shortcut after the drive has stopped spinning and see if it remain's greyed out .

The system reformat was well overboard ...

I know that that the reformat was way too much but I had other issues that's why I opted to reformat.
Anyway, where can I find this "tool" that will remove any trace of Nero?
    Thanks.
