Pardon my newbie-ness. Got WinDVD8 for christmas. Plays all types of movies fine, but does something strange. It enlarges small movies, and shrinks big ones.
WindowsMediaPlayer doesnt do this; a tiny 320x240 movie looks small in windowsmediaplayer and a 640x480 movie looks big in windowsmedia player; in winDVD they look almost the same size!
I've fooled around with the settings for winDVD but cant figure out how to make movies play at 100% of their "normal size".
    Can anyone help?

thanks for the reply. No i'm not in full screen mode. The Smart Stretch options are "greyed out"; I cant even access them. I dont know why. How would I go about turning them on or off? I have messed with the Fixed Aspect Ratio button, off and on, doesnt seem to change anything.

I believe Smart Stretch is only available in Full screen mode.

I personally only use PowerDVD, haven't used WinDVD in years...I think version 3 or 4.

If no one here can help, you may want to send an email to WinDVD.
