I have itunes 7 (most up to date version) and I can not ad more than one file at a time to my library an anyone help me out.

I've tried File>add file to library.highlight 4-5songs then hit open and nothing happens

I've tried add folder to library, begins to re-add all my songs in my music folder, not just the newest songs?

I'm going nuts.....I need to add about 50 songs, but doing one at a time is going to take for ever.

    Hi,
I also noticed this bug when trying to import music videos, For now you could create a folder with the files you want in it and use the "import folder" instead, Or else re-import your library with the new songs included, it's a pain in the butt but will hopefully be fixed soon.

This is what I use too.

I typically rip an entire CD to a folder (using Exact Audio Copy and LAME) and then drag and drop to folder into iTunes.

Nothing else seems to work correctly.

If I import my entire librafy again will it double up all the songs, or should I delete my itunes library and then just import it again with all the new stuff included?

    Hi,
If you don't delete your current library it WILL double up and you'll have a hell of a mess. Bear in mind that if you re-import your library it will also re-check for album art and loudness curves as well as gapless playback, This isn't a problem it will just take a bit of time to process. I've been an iTunes user for a year and a half and am getting tempted to look at other solutions like Anapod, it seems version 7 is still pretty buggy!
