Question is, if I recieve a MP3 file ripped at say 128kbs, then run it through my Switch program to convert to 320kbs, is there any benefit in doing this?
Also, when I convert a FLAC or APE file to MP3 using Switch, does it affect quality if I convert to 128kbs or the 320kbs setting, considering it has already been ripped. I'm trying to conserve space but save quality.
CilyPudi thanks in advance.

If the file is already 128kbs then converting to 320 will not make any difference, you can't put the original quality back.Originally Posted by CilyPudi
FLAC and Ape are lossless so they should be the same as the original. Try encoding using mp3 VBR.Originally Posted by CilyPudiHe's a liar and a murderer, and I say that with all due respect.
