    Hi,

I have a few DVDs which are recordings from a recent conference that I organized. The DVDs and content are not write protected and I have all the permissions to edit the content.

I want to extract a portion of one DVD and burn it on to a seperate DVD.

Can you please tell me the best software to do so. I am a beginner and this thus I am not familiar with complex programs or processes, and really just need to extract a portion of the content on the DVD.

    Thanks a lot.

    rvaccha,
The simplest method that I can think of is to import your original DVD into TDA, Cut off or out (i.e., edit out) the unwanted pieces and reauthor the remaining part to a new DVD (with TDA)and burn with your favorite program (which also could be TDA).
Can not get much simpler than that, a single program.

...or use DVDShrink in reauthor mode. Here, you can set start and end frames.
