    Hello and happy new year to everyone.
    I have been using AVG antivirus for several years now, and was quite happy with it. But now I get a message telling me it's going to be discontinued (the free edition) from January 7th.
    So can anyone recommend me a good, free and reliable antivirus to use from now on?

    Version 7.1 free support is to be discontinued. Version 7.5 will remain free.
