    Don't use Nero.

Vegas has a much better mpeg encoder, and if you have DVD Architect then you can author and burn from there.

Output your video as mpeg2 from Vegas directly using the appropriate template. If you don't have DVD architect, author with GUIForDVDAuthor and burn with imgburn 2.

Never let Nero near DVD Video if quality is important to you.

  3. Thank you guns1inger for your advice. I used dvd architect and it came out great. I will use this method from now on. It will take a while to learn the finer points of dvd architect but it will be worth it. Thanks again for solving my problem.
