Hello fellow (X/S)VCD'ers!
I want 2 make perfect (X)SVCD's. I am not limited to filesize because I have succesfully attached a harddisk on my standalone DVD player (Afreey2060).
The specifications of mpeg files are unlimited. Player plays everything what I through at it.
--Doing great so far but still I've got a few questions:
TMPGEncoder
Video settings:
Size: 480x576 or 720x576(XSVCD)?
Bitrate: CBR&settings? or VBR&settings min/avr/max? or CQ&settings?
Encode mode = Non-interlaced?
YUV format = 4:2:0?
Advanced
Video source type: Interlace of none interlace?
Source aspect ratio: 16/9 or 16/9 625b line or 4:3?
--- About the subs...I use DVD2AVI. But....for the subtitles I use DVDx. It gives a lousy subtitle quality - anyone a clue? or link to a help/document file?
Home hardware
Source: PAL DVD's
Outputt: 16/9 103 cm LCD projection TV
* Live 2 the max! *
