I can't get my slave 80 gig IDE HDD to be recognized once windows loads. It is showing if I go into my bios setup before windows boots, but once I'm all in it's not loaded. My SATA is showing, but it's only showing 127 out of 300 gigs. I suppose I just need to reformat it since I formatted it in SP1 before upgrading to SP2. But I can't move my junk off of it until I get my second IDE drive to be recognized.
I'd appreciate any help you could give!

Have you went to: 'Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage>Disk Management (Local)'? That should list the drive. It may need to be formatted or partitioned. If not, also check your Device Manager in 'Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers' and see if it shows there.
If all this fails, it may be a BIOS problem or maybe a cabling problem. -
Do you have a partition on the slave drive? Perhaps it's fat-16?
Follow redwudz instructions to Disk Management. -
