OK I have an original VHS tape, one of those store bought types, I want to play it back on a S-VHS machine, hook this up to my Video Card via the S-VHS Cable, Capture all this with the Virtual Dub Capture (AVI). But the only problem is during the Capture/Play back on the screen that darn Macrovision stuff starts to get in the way. Are there any Virtual Dub filters out there to get rid of this stuff? I have the ATI All In Wonder Radeon 32MMB DDR Viedo Card, tried the MMC Reg setup with Macrovision patch, did not work. Running Win2000 Pro.

Only a separate box unit (like a Sima Copymaster, etc) will truly eliminate Macrovision. I believe such boxes support both S-Video and Composite (checking now)...
Yes, they do have S-Video and Composite video jacks. There are better, more expensive units that probably work even better than the Sima Copymaster, seach for "Video Clarifiers" on the web. -
Many thanks...I supected that....so on to the web to order, I have 200 or VHS to convert, tapes are taking up to much room...again tanks......Bud
