Hey there everyone, i'm new to the board, and a nube! as well.. I have DVD lab pro on trial and am in the middle of making some home movies, mainly birthday devd's and family events.

I'v made my menu's and have all the movies all set, But i want to make some front end intro's with graphics that will lead the viewer into the main dvd menu.

To give you an idea what i'm trying to do, when you watch a retail dvd, lets say a movie, at the beginning of the dvd, you have 1 or 2 intro's like the studio or production companys name, then it goes to the main dvd menu.

I have photoshoped a few graphics, and kept them as bmp's to keep the quality, i was just wondering if anybody else has already done this and has some tips or even a guide.

I'v tried to use the transition option to go from the first image to the next then to the menu, with varying results, also how do you link, i'v been using the "VMG menu" option, creating two menus VMG 1 and VMG then linked to the main menu, but when i burn it to a dvd and try it in a player it just sits on the first vmg menu 1.

Even though i'v linked each menu to the next but still nothing!??

Any help or pointers in the right direction would be great thanks..

Make your intro images into video files then import them into DLP. Insert the video intro into a movie, and have the "first play" point to it. Then connect from that to your main menu.
