    I'm using flv player and my OS is Windows XP. I want to view a thumbnail of the video. Does anyone know how I can do this?

    I believe this is only possible for files that are associated with WMP and it has the codecs to play.

    Tried latest ffdshow and FLV Splitter? Enable flv decoding under the Codec tab in the ffdshow video configuration.

    Then try play the flv with wmp. Maybe thumbnails will work then...
