ff.flv files are 0k

Hi, I have just installed ffmpegX on my iMac with Snow Leopard running unfortunately when I try to convert an AVI file the resulting file is 0k and, obviously, doesn't work.

I am trying to create a FLV the AVI file is called Case 1.avi the resulting 0k file is called Case 1.avi.ff.flv and I've tried to create an MPG and it's called Case 1.avi.ff.flv.mov - but it's 0k - (that's zero K, by the way, not OK!)

Please post the Process Information log for a failed conversion. You may access that log by clicking the blue "i" in the Progress window after a conversion attempt (e.g to FLV).
This log should hold information and error messages that should help diagnose, and find a way to get a good conversion.

I actually got Prism to do it after all.

Your source file seems to contain one video stream and no audio stream. The error means that ffmpegX can't encode a video-only file to an output file with video and audio. The fix is to disable audio encoding (a checkbox in the Audio tab) for such a source file.

I've been using this for years on my G5 and love it. Now I'm installing FFMPEGX on my new iMac and can't get it to convert, well, anything. Mostly to FLV. It's a QT recorded movie I want to make flash video. MOV to FLV, although nothing seems to work. Here's my process file:
