    I recently picked up an Mvix "Media PC" to use with a projector playing DVD files. The unit has the files on an internal HD and has component video out. It displays the DVD files SVCD2DVD converts from HDTV .TS captures very well on my InFocus 4805 without having to burn them directly onto DVD.

    I've run into a problem with longer items, like a football game that goes beyond 2 1/2 hours. Although SV reports the resulting DVD files will be around 12.5G, it always aborts processing at about 10.4G. This using the 9kbs and no DL or autofit. I've tried it with several items and the abort point is always the same, 10.4G. Is this an internal limit in SV? Adjustable via registry setting?

    I'd like to get this working properly as the resulting DVD files are really stunning on a 70-in screen. In connection with this, are bitrates higher than 9kbs in the works for SV? Any help appreciated. TIA.

    I am not aware of a limit. Are you saying that it truncates the footage or that instead of 12.5 GB you are getting 10.4 GB?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    Both. The game is always truncated when SV reaches a run time of around 2 hr, 35 min. I've tried with 3 games, which SV indicates will have a finished size of 12.4 to 13.9G. When the above run time is reached, SV stops encoding with no error message and the resulting DVD files always total about 10.4G. The DVD output looks great but always ends at about the above run time, +/- a minute or two. I'm running these with the latest SV build on a dedicated 2.4 P4 with 2G memory and plenty of HD space. Thanks for replying.
