  1. Hello, I'm new to this VCD burning process and I'm wondering what programs people use and how do they make 1 to 1 VCD copies. I tried doing a CD-Copy in EasyCD but to no success (burnt copy failed to play). Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  2. Pull the .dat file(s) from the source VCD to Nero and just burn it!

  3. Pulling the "DAT" file off your VCD should be your LAST recourse.

Try a better disc copying proggy (e.g., CDRWin, CloneCD, BlindWrite/BlindRead Suite, etc.)

VCDs are ordinary CDs and you should be able to do a simple DAO copy of them.

    Regards.

  4. Use the BlindWrite Suite (www.blindwrite.com) and use DAO PW mode and you should get an identical copy.

  5. Does SAO work as well or does it have to be DAO?

  7. I use discjuggler. You can use Nero if you'd like also. I burn 24X on the fly SVCDs. Lite-on 163 DVD-ROM as source which has a DAE of 37X and Liton 24X burner.

  8. You should use DAO PW (PQ as alternative), then you are guaranteed to have identical CDs.

CloneCD is also capable of this.

Nevertheless, you need to have a CD-Burner that can read and write DAO PW/PQ.
