Hi! Hope somebody can help me.

    This is my problem:

I'm trying to use the DVDx software to encode a movie (Titan AE) but I couldn't because, once I have ripped this movie into my HD, I start the DVDx software and it can read the IFO file of the movie. But, when I click OK in the Input Settings window, the DVDx.exe crash just after it.

I'm trying to use this software (DVDx) because I tried already with FlaskMPEG without good results.

I mean, I already ripped the DVD into my HD(with SmartRipper and/or DVD Decrypter), and I want to encode it with subtitles. FlaskMPEG 0.594 encoded it without subtitles (and I selected them). FlaskMPEG 0.6 encoded it with english subtitles (I think this is the default subtitle), but I want to encode the movie with spanish subtitles (obviously, I selected it in the Flask window). I read that sometimes FlaskMPEG encoder has this kind of problem, that's the reason I'm trying now to encode the movie with the DVDx, but I'm getting the error message I mentioned previously.

Hardware: Compaq Presario PIII 1GH 512 RAM with at least 10 GB of HD free, running under Windows ME (Spanish version).
Software: DVDx v1.6, ForceASPI v1.7 (and I have also a bunch of encoder software installed: FlaskMPEG 0.594 and 0.6, SmartRipper 2.35 and 2.41, DVD Decrypter v3.0.0.9, etc.).

Could somebody help me to solve this problem? I will thank you a lot. Hope to hear any suggestions from anybody soon.

    Best regards,

    Cesar Villanueva

  2. Try the latest WNASPI32.DLL. That helped me.

    Thank you for your comment.

I'm using the ForceASPI utility, which installed the lastest ASPI (including WNASPI32.DLL 4.60). So I think I should discard your suggestion. Anybody else have another suggestion? I will thank you a lot.
