I am in need of some help. I have been putting old family videos and pictures onto dvd for some time now with real good success. I have been doing really good on my restoration projects, but I have only gone back as far as vhs and beta. I have just came across some very old video reels. They vary in types. Some are even the old 2" reels and some are the sony reels. My question is thier a type that can play alot of different types of reels or do I have to buy a different player for each reel. Also can they be connected to a video projector or computer. I am really wainting to do this myself but money is still an issue so I am looking for any advice I can get. Thanks in advance

You can get these dubbed at a duplication facility. Those old reel to reel analog machines are expensive and difficult to maintain and few are still in working order.

Old analog tape also needs tender care and the machines need a skilled operator. I'd stick to well known facilities in major cities like LA.
