    I have looked at an Xpert DVD Maker but can't work out how its supposed to connect to my VHS player which only has a scart lead conection on the back.

    Don't know the product, but all you probably need is a scart backshell that allows you to connect s-video or composite leads (whatever Xpert DVD Maker has). They don't cost much.

    No to those others ... this adapter required : More input / output ... and not stingy on cable length like others ... price is right .

    The problem with full scart leads is that you then need to put another adapter between them and the Xpert device to change the gender. The backshell lets him plug straight in.
