    HI
    I AM TRYING TO CONVERT A DVD INTO AVI...IS THERE A PROGRAM THAT CONVERTS THE WHOLE DVD INTO A UNIQUE AVI FILE....I TRY TO DO SO BUT I CAN ONLY CHOOSE ONE VOB FILE AT THE TIME....THANK YOU
    MY FINAL TARGET IS TO CONVERT EVRTHNG INTO MPEG 4 FOR MY I POD...BUT I NEED ALSO THE AVI VERSION FOR MY PC....THANXXXXX

    Hi srv10,

    Welcome to the forums.

    1) Turn your CAPS LOCK off - it's difficult to read.

    2) DVDFab Platinum does DVD to MPEG-4 for iPods.

    3) THere are other tools, some even free, and many different ways. Look under the "HOW TO... CONVERT" link to the left.

    If you've more than one VOB, you can either rip the whole DVD to a single VOB or use VOBMerge to join mutliple VOBs into one.
