Hi, I was encoding an .AVI divx file to burn onto DVD with TMpegEnc.
Is there any way to pause the encoding, turn off the machine, and then restart at this point? I have one that's about 20 hours, and I don't want to keep the comp on the whole time, I would rather do it in segments. I tried 'File > Save Project' but this did nothing. Is this possible?![]()
Many thanks for assisting the noob

As indicated in the thread Baldrick linked to, use XP's hibernate function. This won't work if your input or output is on a network share.
