  1. I just rebuilt my system and reinstalled Nero Ultra 6, Updated to 6.6.08 (like it was before)

(I did a Complete Format and reinstall)

Prior to the Rebuild I had Backed up a DVD and Burned it to a DVD+DL, After I had rebuilt the computer I tested the Disk in my Player and saw that it was bad ( I assumed i forgot to check to see that the Booktype weas set to DVD-ROM)

So I reinstalled Nero Ultra 6 and went to Burn it again, but now I keep getting an error in Nero that says :"you trying to burn more data than will fit on a cd..." and tell me to put in a DVD (which is already in there) but for fun I open and close the Drive - let redetec the disk and try to prodeed, no same error, if I try to go further it will even sho me a dialog box that says:

    Disk required: CD-R/CDRW
    Disk in Drive: DVD+R DL

It knows it's a DVD+R DL and yet its asking for a far smaller disk than is required.

I'd Upgrade Nero 7 if I thought that would help.

This is not the 1st time I used the Drive so it makes no sense.

If this helps I previously had WinXP SP1 (devils own) installed and re did the system with a Legal Version OF Win XP Pro SP2 and all the updates ( am I being punished for coming clean with MS).

  3. I wish it was that simple, but being that I've done this same operation over 50 times in the past and have tried 10 times in the last 24 hours, I can assure you that I'm picking the correct tremplate.
