Need video clip that looks like channel surfing.

Help request for video clips or knowledge to build my own.
Part of a project I am doing needs to have a little video short that looks like someone is using a TV remote and is "flipping" through the channels until something you want to watch comes on.
I'm sure most people know what I mean, you see it on shows or movies where someone is searching or surfing and you see a quick flash of a cartoon, then maybe a cowboy movie, then a news reporter, then some other show - just to give you the impression that someone is flipping through the channels.
Does anyone know if there are any already created clips out there or has someone got any ideas on how to easily make one of these?

if you connect svideo out put of a tv to your capture card input and flip the channels start recording it will look like you are changing the channels or point the camera to your TV screen take a shot while flipping the channels

I might be wrong but I think to make that look real you would put a couple frames of static (no signal) in between each short clip and the audio would also have a burst of static. So while capturing your short video clips you will need to capture some static.

The video quality needs to be about the same as your actual video presentation, or it will look real fake.

Don't forget to equalize the volume levels.

You can easily do all this in Ulead VideoStudio.

I was hoping that someone could point me to a clip somewhere already made, (call me lazy) but if I have to make my own, I will.
These forums are such a great storehouse of info that I like to start here first and pick peoples brains.
Somebody, somewhere almost always has more knowledge then me . . .
