    hi there.
    I have a DivX avi video... 608x336 ... Aspect Ratio 1.8 ... 23.976fps ...

I want to make PAL dvd. My tools are:
    1) FitCD to get the script
    2) CCE to encode
    3) dgpulldown to convert from 23.976fps to 25 fps

    A. FitCD: Shall I check the PAL option (the one on the right) in order to resize the video? Is this necessary? I think ratio is good. isnt it? (I delete Assume25fps from the script. I use dgpulldown to do this.)

    B. CCE: , shall I select 4:3 or 16:9? What will be the difference?

    HeLp me plzzzz!!!

    thanks

    A. Yes, if PAL is your target format.

    B. It depends on whether or not you tick Anamorphic for your output in FitCD. If you do, encode to 16:9 in CCE. If you don't, encode to 4:3. Personally, I would tick Anamorphic and encode as 16:9. One day you will have a widescreen TV and you will be kicking yourself for being so stupid if you don't.

Also, make sure you untick the For DVD option in CCE when you encode, or it will undo your resizing.
