MP3 DVD+RW Playback Problems on Mirror DVD Player (MIRR110)

I've copied MP3 music files from my laptop to a DVD+RW disc (using Nero 7). Playback is fine on my laptop but when I load the disc into my Mirror DVD player (MIRR110) the screen says "Disc Loading" but then says "No Disc" and so won't play. The MIRR110 is supposed to play DVD+RW discs. Has anyone experienced this problem and found an answer? Help please. Many thanx. Georgie

The MIRR110 is supposed to play DVD+RW discs.

...but is it supposed to play mp3 data discs? And if so, is it supposed to play DVD data discs?
Some players see a DVD disc, and expect it to be a Video DVD, and rejects it if it isn't.

The spec doesn't mention DVD data discs. MP3 data files on CD rewriteable discs play ok. Any ideas? Thanx. Georgie

Then it's as I suspect:
The player foolishly expects all DVD media inserted to contain a Video DVD structure, and when it doesn't find one, rejects it. If there's no firmware upgrade available you're out of luck.
