Hi there. here's my new problem:

I have a divx movie with ac3 sound... And I want to burn in on DVD...

BUT... the sound volume is really low.

What can I do to get a dvd with normal sound out of this low sound divX?
Is there any good proggie that can amplify an ac3 file?

    Thanks.

It's low when you play it back on what? If on your computer, try creating a DVD with the AC3 track intact, and I'm sure it'll play with normal sound level.

It is somewhat common for AC-3 audio to sound "low" on a computer and I think this has to do with driver issues usually.

You should find (knock on wood) that it sounds "normal" or rather not "low" in volume once you burn it and play it back on your DVD player.

But it is LOW comparing to other divX's with ac3 sound...

Is it a big trouble to amplify it?

Basically - decode to wav, run it thru some audio editor to increase the level, encode back to AC3 with ffmpeggui.
    That's if it's 2 chnl AC3.
If it's 5.1 - I'd never even think about it.
