I have 2 videos(dvd format) that me and my bud shot of a band. I'm wanting to flip back and forth between the 2 angles and just have the audio from cam 1 throughout. Anyone aware of a quick little guide for doing this with sony vegas? Or any quick tips on how i'd go about doing this? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use a technique very similar to this one:

Very simple solution is to put both videos on their own timelines, sync them up (easy to do while have the audio in place), mute the second camera audio, and then use the opacity envelope on camera one to move between the cameras. Once you have the basic flow down you can use this as a guide for splitting clips and adding transitions if necessary.
Another alternative is the freeware script Double Take from Vasst, which is designed specifically for editing two camera shoots in Vegas. Read about it and download here -> http://www.vasst.com/product.aspx?id=2dcc4ca5-1aae-4c53-8a2c-b54213315da5Read my blog here.
