LG LCD TV (Greenness)

I just got a LCD TV by LG today, ive wired it up to my dvd player, but I get green where I should have black, white and grey.

But when I turn the TV on, the colour is fine for a split second, before the green takes over and spoils the viewing.

How can I fix this?

If it has the same issue from multiple inputs, then I suspect it is faulty and should be returned.

How do you change the tv from rgb to another colour setting?

I think what Krispy Kritter is saying is that if the cable, DVD player and VCR are all displayed green after a few seconds of playing on the TV via their prospective inputs, chances are that it (the TV) is bad, Is there a way to return it?

I switched the scart to a new socket and its working fine now.
