    Creating a SVCD with CCE doesn't allow me to use the search function on my dvd player.

    I frameserve with VirtualDub. Encode with 4 pass VBR 600-2520 (min-max) and 2000 (avg) to make a 29.97 mpeg 2 file. I use tmpgenc and toolame to encode sound. Then I multiplex with BBMpeg. This procedure always let me search with Tmpgenc SVCDs.

    Is there a way to enable the Search function on my CCE mpeg 2 files?

    Got the same problem. And gave up on searching for a solution. Thoughty it was a problem of Nero.
    Somedays ago I read it might have something to do with GOP. Dunno yet, haven't had the time to experiment.

    Also you could try the latest CCE (2.64) Maybe they solved it in there.
