    Hi guys

I just got a capture card. I used it to capture in mpeg-2 formart. then later convert it to xvid so i can watch it later when i get some free time. I noticed that some frames have a ghosting effect. i have tried the varies filters and they still there. if i del those frames in VDM then audio/video sync becomes a issue. so i was wondering if there is a way i can delete the frame that has the ghosting effect and replace it with a frame before or after it. so has to keep the audio/video sync and also have a smooth playback ?

  2. Hi-

Yes, using AviSynth, it's easy to replace the bad frame with a good one before or after, using the FreezeFrame Command:

You'll have to go and find them, one by one. That'll take some time. More useful, though, might be to figure out why you're getting the ghosting. Is it in the capture? Is it some sort of processing you're doing to the source video, such as deinterlacing?

  4. You're welcome, babu.

I didn't even link it right, but you still found it:
