    I've downloaded a film and converted it now it is in image format. How can i convert it into dvd format so that i'm able to put the film on a disc.?

    How did you convert it ?
    If the content is a DVD structure, then just load the image in imgburn2 and burn it to DVD.

    Sorry my mistake, i downloaded the film that was in rar file, so i extracted the rar file into a folder so now it is in image format.
    So i don't know what or how to convert the image file.

    Depends what kind of image.
    If it's AVI/DivX:

    1) Some DVD players can read AVI files as-is, copy the file to a disc as data if so.

    2) Otherwise, try DivXtoDVD (there is a free version, as well as the newer $30 edition with more features).
    Quite good and fast results, just select the file and creates a set of DVD-ready files. You can even set it up to burn the disk or use Nero, etc for that.
    I use this for things I just want to watch once and don't particularly want to keep, burn to a DVDRW. Only fault I've noticed is an occasionl pixellation in a fast scene transition.
