Is there a way to capture video from the DVD player on my computer directly into Windows Movie Maker (for editing and saving clips to use in educational setting)?
    Thanx,
    Eric

You can capture an unencrypted DVD off the analog ports just like any other video.

If that is what he meant, WMM does not import VOB files directly. You would need to demux to the MPeg2 and import that.

Copy the VOB files onto your hard drive, convert to mpeg with VOB2MPEG.
