DVDR problems in my PS2

when i try to play my lotr dvdr in my ps2 it plays but it skips constanly like its in the wrong frame rate or something but in my apex it wors fine, whats the problem?

Might be that the PS2 can't handle DVDRs.

In that case you might want to try different media. I read some of the comments and some report that with the same media brand it will play backup copies of games but not movies, hoever if thwy switched to another brand the movies playes fine.
Maybe you should read the comments again, you might find a solution there.
