    Try getting a region free player.

    Thank you for your reply. Maybe you can help me to choose a player.
    Basically I need a player with HDMI and Optical Digital output which I can unlock. I bought Sony DVP-NS90V, very nice player, but it cannot be hacked.
    So, as I understand, there are two options for me - Philips DVP5960/37 and Oppo.
    I don't want to buy Philips because I had bad experience with Philips DVP642, which I currently own. And I'm not sure about Oppo. It look very chip.
    What other options do I have? Can anyone suggest something for me...
    What is the best upconverting player that I can buy under $250?
