How do I copy DVDs? I want to keep 1 in the house the other in the car. I have Nero and it's saying, "copy-protected". What am I suppose to do?

After I get the DVD shrink downloaded on my computer what do I do? Do I need to download anything else? Thanks for all the help.
OK,I did it but when I clicked open disk it's telling me: DVD Shrink encountered an error and can't continue. Invalid DVD navigation structure.

I've done what it tells me to do but it's still not allowing me to burn DVDs. I've downloaded DVD Shrink, FixVTS 1.6, & DVD Decrypter. Decryptor is saying I/O Error! And a bunch of other stuff. The other things aren't working either.

Ok, I've done that and it's finished, however, it stopped and DVD Shrink popped up. I clicked on open disc and it says: DVD Shrink encountered an error and can not continue: Invalid DVD navigation structure. What do I do now? Also, do I just x off the DVD Ripit4me? The guides are not helping me any. Thanks

    From the guide:
    6. Finally, RipIt4Me will open the ripped files in DVD Shrink for you.
    But you say:
DVD Shrink popped up. I clicked on open disc
If I read the guide right, the disc, ripped to HDD will be opened in DVDShrink as it pops up.

  9. Ok lets start from the beginning:
1.Is the DVD scratched or smudged?
2.Can you play the DVD on your PC?
3.Is this DVD pressed or homemade?
    4.If it's pressed what's the movie?

Your computer is not going to blow up if you click in the wrong area. Read a number of guides such as the ones I have linked to above and follow them, WORD FOR WORD. They are written to help people such as yourself ease into things like DVD copying. If you get an error, type out or alternatively get a screen capture of the exact error message, and indicate exactly which part of the guide you got up to before this error message occurred. We cannot see your screen from here so you need to be our eyes and ears
    If in doubt, Google it.
