i have been putting all my old vhs tapes to my computer and then burning them onto dvd but i have come across a tape , holiday inn with bing crosby i know dont laugh, but for some reason it will not let me capture it iam using sonic software any one have any ideas

Macrovision is in VCR hardware, it can only defeated by a hardware remover device. Cost about $29 to $59.

If you have a DV camcorder with passthrough it may also defeat Macrovision and Macrovision-like symptoms.
