I am setting up a Video Chameleon for a company trade show booth. The Video Chameleon only accepts elementry stream file types MPV for Video and MPA or M2A for audio. I have an AVI file that I need to convert to these two file types. can anyone tell me of a program that can take the AVI in and output MPV + MPA or M2A?

Thank you in advance for you help.

Thank you for your quick response but TMPGEnc only a allows output file types M2V and Wav, unless I am doing something wrong. I don't see and option to change output.

  3. Just rename your M2V with the MPV extension. To get MP2 audio go to Settings -> Audio and change the stream type to MPEG 1 Audio Layer II.
