Matsushita used to have free DVD-RAM drivers for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, but they were removed from their site in ~2002.
BHA used to host same drivers on their site (just repackaged with different installer), but few years ago they were removed from their site as well.
Those were freely downloadable drivers (and they used to be bundled with i.e. LG multi-format drives).
Now BHA hosts only "updaters" for their drivers (updates adding more dvd-ram compatible drives, but requiring 'full' version of their free software to be installed first - which they don't host on their site anymore LOL).
So if anyone wants to host the last full free version of the dvd-ram drivers for windows 2000 thats long gone from BHA's and Matsushita's sites - please let me know now (its ~2.5MB installer)., as I no longer renew any of my domains nor keep any site alive for long time - but Im sure there is plenty people with DVD-RAM capable drives on Windows 2000 who might want it.
list of drives supported here:
http://www.bhacorp.com/download/utilities/dvdram.html#
and more here:
http://www.bhacorp.com/download/utilities/dvdram_drives.html
EDIT:
no, Im not going to send it by email to anyone I dont know, so dont bother spamming my inbox![]()
